Resorsys EMS, is split into two applications:

Desktop application is installed on the different Sites to continuously gather the data and write to the associated database. The data being gathered is displayed on the screen and sent to a web server for the consolidation.

Web application is installed on the central server, which uploads and consolidates the data received from site servers. The web application has an administration module to configure and set the operators (Administrators, users and consumers) of the system. Querying and reporting produce, analyse and publish the data in the pre-formatted templates, which can be viewed in a browser (Internet Explorer 5.0 or above only). The relevant information can be printed for further analysis. E.g.

EMS offers a very strong views and reports module. Most of the views are graphical and the graphs are calibrated as Date/Time (x-axis hour,day,month,year) and KWh Cosumption (y-axis). An area of a graph can be selected and zoomed in/out. The basic data of the graph can be plotted in a tabular form also. The reports can be viewed using ActiveX or Java.
